Pioneer employees in West Texas host special fundraisers that benefit their local United Way campaign.
For more than 60 years, Midland Area United Way programs have been making a positive difference in the area communities. Today, the organization invests its efforts in improving education, helping families achieve financial stability and promoting healthy lifestyles. It empowers community residents to reach out and help neighbors in need.
At the Pioneer offices in the Midland area, employees not only give to the United Way on an individual level through payroll deduction or otherwise, they also organize creative fundraising events. In recent years, employees in West Texas have held potluck breakfast fundraisers, intercom trivia contests, silent auctions and “Wear Jeans to Work” days to raise money. They have even created a nine-hole miniature golf course through two floors of the office.
The company matches all funds raised from these events. Over the past few years, Pioneer and its employees have donated thousands of dollars to Midland Area United Way programs, supporting the invaluable programs the organization facilitates.
At the helm of Pioneer’s success is a knowledgeable and experienced management team and Board of Directors.
